Andy worked with GL events during 2021 - 2022 to document the business' journey to delivery of Overlay for Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games - highlighting our approach, planning and project delivery. The undertaking was vast - in terms of timescale, themes, and geographical reach - with the story playing out across many venues within Birmingham and beyond, over many months.

He also captured the delivery of our social value program in Birmingham, alongside a range of charitable partners and activities, highlighting the incredible work of our partners and shining a light on some amazing individuals.

From the outset, we felt in very safe hands. Andy's mix of enthusiasm, creativity, organisational rigour and willingness to go above and beyond, time and again, quickly bore fruit and enabled us to craft a piece of work which not only stands as a detailed case study of our project, but perfectly captures a moment in time.

This was achieved through exceptional visual storytelling in which the challenge of the project, and the sense of anticipation within the team and within the wider Birmingham community are brought to life as vivid characters within their own story. The fact that the story unfolds effortlessly, and beautifully on screen, is a testament to Andy's vision, commitment, attention to detail and some very long hours and early starts.

Andy's technical abilities, creativity and project management are certainly second to none, and I would have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone looking for video content and visual storytelling of the highest quality. Over and above (and in spite of these qualities), Andy displays a genuine interest in humanity and a passion for "good" which make him a joy to work with.
